Trim Levels

There are five trim levels available for the 2017 Honda Civic: LX, EX, EX-T, EX-L, and Touring. The LX, the base model equipped with a six-speed manual transmission, multi-angle rearview camera, and automatic climate control. The EX builds on those features and adds Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as a power moonroof, remote start, and smart access.

The EX-T has heated front seats and an upgraded 1.5-liter turbocharged engine. With a leather-trimmed interior, power driver’s seat, and an automatic-dimming rearview mirror, the EX-L is the next level up. The final option is the Touring, which comes with a 450-watt premium speaker system, navigation, and Honda Sensing.

Optional Packages

The most popular optional package for the 2017 Honda Civic is the Honda Sensing active safety package. This includes a Collision Mitigation Braking System that senses oncoming collisions and warns drivers plus automatically engages the brakes to avoid accidents. It also includes the Road Departure Mitigation system, which warns drivers if they begin drifting from their lane without using their turn signal to help drivers stay safe and alert, especially on long road trips.

The EX-L and Touring have navigation offered as an additional package, which includes GPS directions and traffic information to help drivers avoid nasty snarls on the road. The LX, EX, and EX-T come standard with manual transmission but can be upgraded to CVT for a small upcharge.

Extra Accessories

Door visors, trims, films, and guards are all available as accessories to be added on previous to purchase, as well as cargo nets, console illumination, and all-season mats.
