There is nothing like a live concert. First, you feel the anticipation and excitement from the crowd as you wait for the show to start. The lights go down and the crowd begins to cheer. The music starts, and you get to enjoy some of your favorite songs. Here are three music venues in Houston that are known for great live entertainment.
Warehouse Live
Warehouse Live, a renovated 1920’s warehouse, hosts a wide variety of genres that range from blues to rap to pop rock. Upcoming concerts at Warehouse Live include:
Snow tha Product: Vibe Higher Tour 2018 – This concert is on June 21st at 8:00 pm. Tickets are $22.00 if you pre-order or $25.00 at the door.
Rich Girl: A Tribute to Hall and Oats – This show is on June 22nd and doors open at 7:00 p.m. The concert starts at 8:00 p.m. and tickets are $10.00 in advance or $15.00 the day of the show.
ROBB BANK$ – Live in Houston – This concert is on June 23rd and tickets are between $17.00 and $50.00. Along with ROBB BANK$, you can also enjoy the talents of Diego Money, Lil Rarri, Therealflexgod, Wild West Cartel, and Keyan Christ. Doors open at 8:00 p.m. and the show starts at 9:00 p.m.
White Oak Music Hall
The White Oak Music Hall opened in 2016 and has 8,000 square feet of space in outdoor and indoor stages. Many different genres of music play here including rock, country, hip-hop, R&B, and more. Stages include Upstairs, Downstairs, and the Lawn. Upcoming concerts include:
Sunflower Bean, Jesse Jo Stark – This concert is on June 8th on the Upstairs stage of White Oak Music Hall. The concert starts at 8:00 p.m. Advanced admission is $12.00 while tickets at the door cost $14.00.
The Get Up Kids, The Casket Lottery – This concert is on June 15th on the Downstairs stage. Advanced tickets cost $19.99 and tickets purchased on the day of are $24.00. The show starts at 8:00 p.m. and The Casket Lottery open for The Get Up Kids.
Caroline Rose, Cardioid – Caroline Rose performs on June 23rd at 8:00 p.m. on the Upstairs stage. Tickets are $10.00 in advance and $12.00 on the day of the show. Cardioid will open for Caroline Rose.
House of Blues
The House of Blues offers an ultimate night out with great food and amazing live concerts. Located downtown, both emerging artists, and seasoned acts perform on the House of Blues stage. Some upcoming shows include:
Nipsey Hussle – Tickets for the June 13th concert for Nipsey Hussle are $38.00-$80.00. Doors open at 7:00 p.m.
Ledisi – This concert is on June 16th, and tickets are $39.50 – $69.50. Doors open at 7:00 p.m. and the artists include Ledisi, Melanie Fiona, and Tweet.
Common Kings – The Common Kings will be performing on June 20th at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $15.00.
